Claims Process

Mechanical and ancillary product breakdown claims and roadside assistance process: All claims require pre-approval. (MaintenanceCARE claims are all completed online.) Obtain customer Complaint, Cause and Correction. Have repair estimate ready.

  • MRSP pricing and labor hours via Motors, Mitchell or All Data.
  • If applicable, have rental, towing or sublet invoices available.
  • Call CareGard claims at 888.565.2580 for pre-approval.
  • If applicable, you will be given an approval number and dollar amount.
  • Verify the deductible, if any, that corresponds with the customer's coverage.

Once Repairs are completed

Claim Submission & Reimbursement

Fax or email a final copy of the Repair Order. The following are required:

  • Customer signature.
  • All sublet invoices (rental, towing, machine shop) Claim approval number.
